Originating in South America, chimichurri is an uncooked sauce used in dishes from Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. It is commonly used to baste meats or added during the resting stage. It is also used as a condiment for grilled meats. And, can also be used with fish, chicken or sausage as well.
