Here is a tomato soup that makes for the perfect partner to a grilled cheese sandwich, or for any meal. You can control the thickness of the soup by blending or not blending. Myself, I prefer a thicker soup than the store bought versions but not chunky style. San Marzano tomatoes are the best for soups as they have a great natural sweetness and few seeds.
