Currywurst

A popular street and bar food in Germany originating in 1949. Commonly the dish is served on the street with a side of French fries and uses the aptly name "Currywurst fork", a small, two pronged, wooden fork. The dish can be made with any type of sausage but the key to the dish is the 'curry ketchup' which can be used for other dishes as well. Perfect for lunch, dinner or as a party appetizer or late night snack.
