This recipe uses store bought puff pastry with a homemade apple filling for delicious, homemade turnovers.
Store bought puff pastry can be found in the desserts area of the freezer case of most supermarkets. When you want to use, simply follow the box instructions to thaw overnight or on the counter, before using. If counter thawing, you will need about 40 minutes before using to make sure it is ready to use.
When all ingredients are ready to use you will have hot, fresh turnovers in about 30 minutes.
