Fork Cookies

Light and soft, and not overly sweet, these simple country cookies are a treat. Made with brown and white sugar with a hint of vanilla. They get their name from the pressing down with a fork on the dough before baking. A recipe from my Auntie Marcella from the Opole, MN, Our Lady of Mount Carmel cookbook.

Makes about 5 dozen.
