Cornbread is a fast and simple side for soups and barbecues, or for just snacking. This recipe adds in cheese and fresh jalapenos into the mix. For added heat, substitute 1 tablespoon jalapeno oil for 2 tablespoons of the butter...1 Tbsp jalapeno oil + 6 Tbsp butter in place of the 1/2 cup butter.
