Pronounced "po-tee-sa", potica is a traditional, Central European bread that has variations depending on regions. Typically it is prepared during the Easter season, especially for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday dinners. The Slovenian preparation contains a much thicker filling akin to a Polish Coffee Cake.
