Torta di Mele

An Italian-style, apple 'pie'. Actually is more of a light and creamy cake made with basic ingredients. Serve at room temperature with a simple, rustic dusting of powdered sugar. An important note is to un-pan the cake after baking to allow the cake to finish and prevent the bottom from becoming sticky
